May I share three photos taken at the Tidal Basin, Washington, DC , yesterday(late afternoon near dusk with you? As a bad habit (become hooked and addicted to writing our mother tongue), Bi Ben would like to practice a few H3LP if you don't mind.
(Thomas Jefferson Statue and Memorial)
To end, may I share at least a couple of interesting facts about President Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826) with you?
1. Knowing his weakness a public speaker, Jefferson avoided making speeches and dealt with matters in writing wherever possible.
2. Jefferson refused to speak to Congress for his first State of Union in 1801, writing a letter instead. This started a tradition that lasted until 1917, when President Woodrow Wilson made the first personal address for over a century.
3. Jefferson wrote his own epitaph for his own gravestone:"Here was buried Thomas Jefferson, author of the Declaration of American Independence, of the statue of Virginia for religious freedom, and the father of the University of Virginia."
What a great human being he is! Big Ben loves to visit him whenever possible and will continue to do so until Taiwan Independence is here and stays forever in this world.

Just a few hints for your reference,
We have to go to Longtan to join 鍾老's 91st birthday party with Dr. Chen and others.
Have a good day,
