Let me share two photos of 「蒼鷺窩 」taken today with you. There are about 40 nests in 6 clusters or batches high on the trees(60 ft high) in the woods near Columbia, Maryland, USA. About 3 more weeks, chicks will be hatched and their cute, funny heads will stick out

from the nests.

2020 華府櫻花季

Hi, 羅先生and friends,

Just share a few photos taken at Tidal Basin yesterday with you. It’s very obvious that the crowd for Cherry Blossom is dwindling because of the outbreak of Chinese Coronavirus this year. President Donald Trump already declared National State of Emergency.  Most of museums, National Parks, National Zoo are closed to the public. DC government ordered all restaurants to close for 2 or more weeks on a voluntary basis (?).

食到老 學到老

Hi, 羅先生，

承蒙您！從「客語詞庫」肚，查著三個例子：【躙力】、【躙命】、【躙死】，對冇？客家聲音 Nang， 來自中文拼音 Lin(蹂躙）確實冇想到。

難怪老人言（Old Proverb)

Never too old to learn! (食到老 學到老）

We  learn new thing day after day. (日夜學兜新知識）

搶救客母語

文字語詞有恁多

值得大家認到老（認=「學」&「教」）

記得先生講過，認真做自己的功課，共下下田作個「字彙拾穗者」，臺灣客家母語、文化，早慢一定會傳承世代。I sincerely hope that Grace would make commitment to write more H3LPs. To me, her Hakka proficiency in speaking and writing is superb and much better than Big Ben’s. As far as I remembered,  she came out to top every student at HAC’s 「海外客語教師研習班」at 臺師大10 years ago. With her charisma, I would like to see her inviting all previous 「世界臺灣客家同鄉會會長」，all previous 「北美臺灣客家會會長、理事們」and all 「臺灣客家諮詢委員」certified by HAC to join in writing a few H3LPs and then we can rise together to make Taiwan Hakka great and 「世代傳承客家文化」.

借這三月初四，試看客家人性格，尋找「民間客委會」个可能性；參加各種客家會，毋知大家注意到，鄉親有以下个習慣：「推三阻四」、「說三到四」、「挑三撿四」、「拘三搭四」、「顛三倒四」、「欺三瞞四」，最後，一個「好客」（註：客委會好用這兩個字）个客家人，變成「不三不四」。其實，這兜性格，好好壞壞，幾十年來，就將臺灣變到：「冇聽客家話，客家人緊來緊少，客家文化、客家族群早慢會冇忒。」，對冇？照按人看，成立「民間客委會」，敢有可能完成？

Anyway, Big Ben will keep your thought and words in mind and reach out more folks to have their feedbacks.
