On Speaker Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan early this August, it pissed off PRC to start a a week or so military maneuvers such as shelling it’s missiles into the waters surrounding Taiwan. She and her congressional delegation’s appearance with President 蔡英文of Taiwan in 「總統府」raised an awful lot of attention with news coverage around the world. There has been a ripple of effects on Taiwan’s status on the global stage since Speaker Pelosi’s visit.

抗議中國霸凌台灣

Hope all is well with you in LA, Toronto and Taipei! Just let you know that I joined a group of die-hard Taiwanese American protesting Chinese bullying on Taiwan after Speaker Pelosi’s visit at PRC’s Embassy in Washington, DC

this afternoon. Due to the working hours for some folks, there is still about 50 people showing up and the reporter

from VOA, 中央社, TVBS and the Pacific Times.

舉牌抗議共產黨（霸凌台灣）

雖然人數少

但是嗆聲強又大

抗議連續一點鐘

Green heron babies 細細綠鷺鷥

May I share the photos of two little green heron babies captured few days ago at Wilde Lake, Columbia, Maryland with you? They are cute, adorable, aren’t there? According to those bird watchers and photographers, they’re less than a week old.

Hi Thomas, Grace and Olivia,

Ran into a bunch of grade school children at Wilde Lake, Columbia, Maryland this morning. Every student was given a short and straight fishing pole and instructed how to fish by one of teachers. Saw no one getting a single fish hooked in almost an hour.
