ReplyDeleteThe point is that we have to do the Enlightenment Movement to educate ourselves as Taiwanese. This job is the sooner the better... and not to wait till each election and becomes an critical issue. Enlightenment Movement takes the hard efforts from the bottom up. Yet nowadays our politicians have been too "lazy" (which they might use a better term: be practical ) and not willing to deal with this fundamental challenges and rather to compromise. Many deep green leaders are so used to criticize others not to insist "Taiwan Identity" and compromise with ROC... Yet, besides the complaints they've made, what have been done? We cannot wait, and we must carry out our Enlightenment Movement... to seek day by day improvement in Taiwan Consensus. There is no short cut. BR,Thomas 1/15/2014
