Courage to Act/Stop Gun Violence

Hi Friends,

On 4/13/21, Tuesday, went out to National Mall paying a tribute to 40,000 lives lost gun violence in 2020. Took some photos to share with you.

來結束「搶枝暴力」

Please click on at Giffords.org to join former congresswomen from Arizona, Ms Gabrielle Giffords’s mission to save lives from gun violence. On 1/8/2011, she was critically injured when a man went on a shooting spree during a constituents meeting held her outside a Tucson-area supermarket. Six people died in the attack and another 13 including her were injured.

2021 DC 牛年櫻花季

Dear Friends,

一年又一年

華府櫻花季收場（結束）

往年比起今年長

專家學者講

受「氣候變遷」影響（=“Climate Change”)

櫻花早開季較短

往年櫻花季

潮汐湖頂人尖人

慶祝活動滿滿滿（日日有）

牛年櫻花季

遊客來往少又少

不過花蕊共樣靚

Dear Friends,

If you ever visit Washington, DC in the future and try to find a Taiwanese restaurant, I recommend “Taipei Cafe”(頂鮮）, the one and only on Route 355 in Rockville, Maryland. We often visit the place once a week. Not only it’s 「便宜又大碗」, but also we run into our Taiwanese American there.

望這「鴿子蘭」向亡靈致哀

Hi Thomas and Grace and Friends, 

It’s awfully sad to see what happened in our homeland, Taiwan: a train crash killed 50 people and injured more than 100 people. I personally urged President Chen, Kueiling(陳桂鈴會長）of TAA(北美台灣同鄉會）say and do something at the first window of opportunity. I also happened to see this Brazilian orchid, Peristeria, from a Brazilian Hakka friend FB. May I use it to write a H3LP to soothe the souls of everyone involved?
