華府櫻花又開咧

Hi Thomas, Grace, Scott, Albert, Dennis, Jay, James, John, Allen, and Friends, 

Just share few photos taken on the National Mall and the Tidal Basin yesterday with you. Due to the impact of COVID-19, DC government still tried to ban or limit the tourists pouring in to see Cherry Blossom like last Spring this year. In the past, there are always a fleet of tour bus parking along the Potomac River and dropping off tens of thousands tourists to walk around the Tidal Basin for few snap shots and a peak at the statues of MLK, Jr., Thomas Jefferson and Abraham Lincoln. Unfortunately, it’s not happening now. What a pity!

遊客相凑來賞櫻

三月天氣暖

櫻花提早大開放（=盛開）

比往年早一禮拜（=星期）

疫情延燒中

潮汐湖邊限停車

遊湖賞櫻冇恁該

今年賞櫻花

冇看半輛遊覽車

華府旅遊業當慘

不管人多少

櫻花怒放陽光下

換來遊客歡笑聲

牛年牛頭痛

櫻花恁靚冇人賞

Dear Friends,

Have you noticed that President Biden have been stumbling both physically and mentally since he took over the White House? On 3/18, President Biden mistakenly called Ms Kamala Harris as President Harris at White House’s briefing on the status of vaccines and vaccination in the country. On 3/19, he stumbled three times while boarding Air Force One. We all should worry about this 78 years old man!

Dear friends,

May I share this article from LTN news(自由電子報） on 「台海軍情」with you? Since the beginning of 蔡總統‘s 2nd term and the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, PRC’s military aircrafts have been flying over Taiwan’s territory while USA’s various navy ships have also intermittently sailed in South China Sea and through Taiwan strait. Based on the report of this article, it’s obvious that 習主席 is ready to announce his plans on 「攻打台灣、統一天下」. What do you all think? Here is what I see and feel about it.

Hi, Thomas, Grace and Friends,

I saw this license plate with a tennis ball on tennis court and a message, “I’d rather play tennis” on the road the other day. It hits my mind really hard. It also inspired me to write another H3LP. As you know, the fifth(next to four Grand Slams) major tennis tournament at Indian Wells, California was cancelled again due to the pandemic. In 2020, most professional tennis tournaments were held without any spectators in the stand.
