客家妹邁向國際？
Dear All,
Just
received a message from a bosom friend about this year of 「客家青年
邁向世界」that 客家委員會 created four years ago and decided to give a another
try. What a great and wonderful news! Nevertheless, it took me back in
time to 2017 and where I met a group of Hakka teenagers with good
command of both American English and Taiwan Hakka. It is real regret
that I never got to know them more and better in my life.
記得四年前（8/3-16/2017)
一群台灣客家妹（11 Hakka Youths)
一陣旋風來美國（LA, Washington DC, Houston, New York)
客家委員會
借用這群後生人
想「行銷台灣客家」
大家記得冇
在「客家懇親大會」（Los Angels, California/August 4-6, 2017)
逐儕會講也會唸（講客話唸三行詩）
一場旋風後
四年來冇消冇息
老伙感覺很可惜
Let’s hope that we can get a chance to meet this new 「客家青年團」soon!

美國漢堡王（Burger King)
Dear All,
Have
you ever tried to eat the Whopper at Burger King? Whenever I go, I
always order a single(mean a layer of beef) Whopper combo(with French
fries and a soft drink). This Whopper has a mix of tomatoes, onion,
lettuce, cheese and pickles and tastes good. So does their fries, hot
and crispy. For the soda, you have your choice among coke, sprite, root
beer, lemonade, Dr. Pepper, Mountain Dew, Fanta, etc.

一對紅肩鷹（A pair of red-shouldered hawk)
Dear all:
How often you see a hawk at busy traffic intersection? We saw a pair on the top of high pole-light off local highway
in
Columbia, Maryland @sunset last week. Who knows if they are enjoying
sunshine or watching the traffic that human being caused.

寒冬日頭曬燒暖（日頭=太陽）
This
kind of hawk is only found in North America(USA, Canada and Mexico).
They are not seen anywhere else including Taiwan, China.
