最近運動會恁鬧熱，I have been watching Rendy's (盧彥勳）tennis closely because I like Tennis and I played it a lot when I was younger. Rendy just beat Granoller ( a tough Spanish player ) today at 3rd round of the Winston-Salem Open. That is the latest news. But he often failed at 2nd round. Too bad he didn't make the 32 seeds of the US open. Ben, you know him very well, is Rendy a Hakka ?

青年奧運會正在中國舉行，又看到不答不七个「中華台北」撈 白旗，台灣拿到金牌，教練還叫選手拿旗遶一圈，令人不忍卒睹 ！ 這是國共兩黨三十年前在奧運密會把「台灣」此名聯手作掉了！

whether anyone would be interested in playing a friendly match, either single or double, for 「以球會友談家事、國事、天下事」. I love to play anyone in their 50s, 60s or 70s who still play single in Taiwan. Don't worry. BB is able and capable.

ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to enjoying your tennis match at Kuanshi in this November when HAPANA touring group will be back to Taiwan and to Hsinchu areas in particular, to boost DPP’s election campaigns in this November’s 9 in l General Election of 2014.
For your reference, Kuanshi Elementary School located at the downtown of Kuanshi has three tennis courts which are open to the early birds of tennis fan in the town. Hope Dr. Chen to brush up his tennis bat soon for the coming welcome-match with Big Ben, the secretary general of HAPANA from Washington D.C.
As to Rendy Lu’s family roots, he could be a Hakka as judged from his ancestor’s possible immigration Records, if any, as to the Google’s information. 據說，盧彥勳的父母，是從屏東九如鄉遷來台北的，因此下面的資料可能證明其祖先是客家人。
屏東縣九如鄉的特色：九如三山國王廟興建於清乾隆三十九年（1774年），至今約有二百多年歷史，為全國首建之三山國王廟，據文獻資料，台灣的「三山國王」以屏東縣九如鄉九塊厝「三山國王廟」的神明歷史最為悠久，早期由客家人奉祀，如今成為閩南人的信仰所在，見證屏東平原的開發歷史。而且擁有「十三庄」結盟的廟宇地位，是九塊厝社區地緣關係最重要的標誌和象徵，它見證了九如的開發，更是鄉民的精神寄託。
