Hi, Big Ben, It is really a good idea to start up sort of bilingual language school in the countryside village towns along Tai-3 Roadway. However, it wouldn’t workable, it seems to me, unless it is to be supported by GI budget, I mean, either by public funds or by private donations. The next question is where to recruit the students for the class, even the admission fee is free? I don’t know. I would rather recommend to set up sort of Hakka Institute of Foreign languages as a research center for graduate students to pursue the linkage between Hakka language and the other foreign languages, so as to establish a kind of Internet of Hakka language around the world. There are approximately 80 million of people of Hakka origin in the world and there are tens of thousands of foreign brides in the Taiwanese families in Taiwan and the number is going to be added in years to come. Hah, ha, this subject is too big for an old man like me to talk or to think about, isn’t it? Maybe the “Big person” in the Council of Hakka Affairs can answer your question in this regards. Well, this is for your reference only. God save Taiwan and bless the Taiwanese Hakka! All the best to you all, CS Lou 11/25/2016
