七夕感言    A plain man’s plain words;

Chinese Valentine's Day, the lovers’ day

Falls on the seventh day of the seventh month of the lunar calendar  

This day is also known as "The Begging Festival"

Or The Beggars’ Day for those who are begging for something

In Taiwan’s case, just begging for international justice

So as to enable Taiwan to secure its independence as a sovereign nation

Without international justice, Taiwan’s struggle for independence would be without a purpose. 
Without international justice, the relationship between Taiwan and China makes nonsense,

Without justice and a good .neighborship of China, Taiwan would remain an orphan of Asia.

On this Chinese Valentine's Day and this Begging Festival

I, as a humble Taiwanese, beg for international justice and China’s good neighborship

To let Taiwan stand up by itself as a sovereign nation of the world

So as to be able to contribute much more to the well-beings of the world as a whole
