中國文化打前鋒
一代花旦來關西

 
南片作京戲
狗去豬來換人管
羅屋請來京戲班


關西做鬧熱
三腳採茶換京戲
有看冇識嘴擘擘


 分鬼牽能走
遠遠傳來銅鑼聲
五歲細人跈聲行 

 
細人襯鬧熱
孫仔突然毋見忒
阿婆愁到滿奈尋（man nai qim）

    Hi, Dennis,
    Some of your boyhood memory might be not as correct as you imagined.
    The Chinese opera invited to perform at our traditional Hakka residence
    at Hoboi, Kuanshi was in 1949. It was in fact a congratulation event presented by a general 羅卓英from 廣東大埔, who was a classmate of 鄒洪 the eldest brother of 鄒清之 who was then the head of Hisnchu county.
    As you might know鄒清之 brothers were the son of 陳煌順’s elder sister.
    鄒清之was my father’s close friend since both of them were in office then; the former was head of Hsinchu county and the latter was head of Kuanshi township. 羅卓英 had visited Kusashi several times with many of his military friends included 陳誠，周至柔，白崇喜，薛岳 etc., before he died in 1961 in Taipei.
    Anyway, thank you so much for your Hakka poems and cooperation.
