Dear All,
Out to
Masonville Cove, Baltimore, Maryland, checked this mother Bald Eagle
nest and took a few pictures last week. Note two things with your good
eyes: a huge nest built with tree branches and a eaglet(very small, gray
furry head with a big eye) sitting right in front of mom. It’s not easy
 to raise a baby eagle.

It
takes 35 days to hatch from egg to eaglet. It takes much longer(10 to
12 weeks) to be fledged(left mom to become independent juvenile).
