Once a year, we see the long-tailed duck in the lake and the
coastal waters in Maryland. They are medium sized ducks with a super
diving ability for small fish and shellfish. We spotted this male duck
in Chesapeake Bay just off Thomas Point Park, Annapolis, Maryland.
Believe it or not. We went there several days in a row for this adorable
bird.
