Bald eagle at Blackwater National Wildlife Refugee Center, Maryland

Dear Thomas, Grace and Friends,

Last weekend, drove almost 3 hours to check brown pelicans near Hoopers Island on Eastern Shore, Maryland and ran into a pair of Bald Eagles at Blackwater National Wildlife Refugee. Here is a photograph for your reference. Are they awesome?

一對白頭鷹
企著樹頂頭勾勾
看到人類變瘋狗

美國一片亂
亂到紅藍分不清
川普到今吂認輸

認識白頭鷹
填加知識補頭腦
互相幫助學到老

“The Bald Eagle has been the National emblem of the United States since 1782 and a spiritual symbol for native people for far longer than that. These regal birds aren’t really bald but their white-feathered heads gleam in contrast to their chocolate-brown body and wings.”(from Cornell Lab of Ornithology)

BTW. Will share two more photos in the separate email. Of course, will also show you brown pelicans with a different subject later.
