Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia Fall colors

 Hi Friends,

It has been a long while since Big Ben tried to inspire or beg you to write a set or two of H3LPs and hoped that our late 羅先生‘s dream in saving Hakka mother tongue would not be in vain. Well, BB felt quite disappointed to see no
responses and went out to Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia to relax and soothe
his soul. In the meantime, he took few photos and wrote down some thought
to share with you.

Harper’s Ferry is on the Potomac River near three States (Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia) and on Appalachian Trail, located almost half way between Maine and Georgia (see the wooden sign on one of photos). It is the most popular spot for the tourists year around. Notice that there are many locks hanging on the bride which are meant to lock the loved lives of young and old visited HF together. BB pray and sincerely hope that we, Taiwan Hakka, can lock together, hand in hand and heart to heart, to save our mother tongue from disappearing in Taiwan Hakka towns and villages.
