Mount Vernon, Virginia 在華府郊區，三十分鐘車程 為了紀念佢起﹝建造﹞華盛頓紀念碑﹝Washington Monument﹞名聲傳遍全世界

Washington, DC; DC stands for District of Columbia, 除了華盛頓   還有傑佛森紀念碑﹝Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President; his stature stands high in the center of memorial.) 還有林肯紀念堂﹝Abraham Lincoln, 16th President; he sits/rests in a huge chair.﹞紀念羅斯福﹝Franklin Delano Roosevelt, 32nd President; he served 12 years, the longest time, in office.﹞起碑承蒙佢領導行出苦難贏二戰﹝FDR led the country out of the Great Depression. He was president during most of World War II.﹞

Washington, DC is a great city to visit and to learn the history and culture of America. Other than four presidential memorials there are several national museums on the mall between congress and Washington monument to tour and to learn at free of charge. 識來撩﹝料﹞冇？
