Dear Dennis, You are right. Hakka is a matter of lifestyle, values and culture including language rather than DNA and myth. Different lifestyle and values make different Hakka identities elsewhere in the world, so does Taiwan Hakka with its own interests, values and identity, in addition to the ambiguous and overextended Hakka terms. May I re-wording part of your poems, just for your reference?
中原夢冇醒 溚溚渧渧簡體字 (dab dab di di 糾纏曖昧, 拖泥帶水) 偎來偎去國冇忒( 偎va台灣客家認臺灣國,偎冇國就變孤兒)
