I share a couple photos of American gold finch feeding the seed of
sunflower with you? The bright color of yellow is as shiny as gold. This
is probably why we call it “Gold Finch”. Gold finch are migratory bird
that they move north up to Canada in the Summer. This kind of bird is
commonly seen in our backyard.
