Hi Thomas and Grace,
It’s
ecstatic (欣喜若狂) to see this mother eagle feeding her baby patiently and
intimately high up in the nest on a huge pine tree at Blackwater
Wildlife Refugee 10 miles from Cambridge, Maryland. While mom is feeding
young, the father eagle standing nearby and watching /guarding the nest
from any intruder. It’s told that it will take at least a month or so for this eaglet to leave the nest and be independent.
