Hi Thomas and Grace,
Do
you ever see Great Horned Owl in the wild? It’s said that this kind of
owl is most popular and widely spread in North America. I personally
never saw it once in the woods in my entire life. We accidentally saw a
mother owl with at least 2 owlets in the bottom of cavity of a huge dead
tree trunk. In one of photos, see if you can spot her and a fluffy
white stuff which belongs to the resting owlets in front of her. During
our 2 to 3 hours of stay and watching, the mother was sleeping while the
babies stood up and played several times. They are cute and adorable,
aren’t they? There was a third owlet, pushed aside by the siblings and
not in the photos.
