雪鴞出現在馬里蘭州

Hi Thomas and Grace,

There was more surprise to the bird group of Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia. A second snowy owl showed up in Cambridge, Maryland last week after the first one visited the Union Station, Washington, DC early this year of Tiger. We went along with this frenzy and saw this beautiful creature.

雪鴞戴佇北極圈 (Arctic circle)

盡少向南來過冬

According to bird specialist, some snowy owls would fly south to Canada, New England and New York in Winter. The snowy owl, also known as the polar owl, the white owl and the arctic owl, is a large, white owl of the true owl family. They are native to the arctic region of both North America and the Palearctic, breeding mostly on the tundra.
