Hi, Ben and friends,
The good news is also reported today in local newspapers that Taiwan has been famously rated as the most liv(e)able city in Asia by The American Chamber of Commerce.
However, as a born Taiwanese resident, I am of the opinion that Taiwan is by far a good place for foreign tourism though, it is by no means a nationally secure Motherland for the Taiwanese because of the ambitiously aggressive China next door. The values of Taiwan should be close-up enough
to the world internationally, as the treasure of the world.
As to the Daily Jumble English Game, I am too old to stretch myself now for the game really in this aged man's slow-motion-lifestyle. Hah, ha.
Nevertheless, my salutation to your enthusiasm in encouraging young Hakka as well as the young Taiwanese to step up their English proficiency is everlasting and at all times. My suggestion, by your favor, is to promote the young Hakka's language proficiency in English and Hakka simultaneously by so-called to learn by association.
For instance,
臺灣人好客 (the generosity of the Taiwanese)
特別尊敬外來人(Is to welcome and respect foreigners with hospitality)
比手畫腳拼觀光 (Treat those tourists with proficient English and the
body-language.)
借題發揮,班門弄斧,敗勢,Pardon!
